SharePoint 2010 Complete using Local Accounts

I made the big mistake of being impatient during the creation of the Config & Farm database on an install using a vm single server for developer use using local accounts with PowerShell.

Ok, but what do I do now?

Take the databases that started to be created and drop them, if they are “being used”, take them offline or kill the spid connection. Then, delete the database\log files that you partially created using your PowerShelll script out of the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.SQLEXPRESS\MSSQL\DATA. The next step is critical! Reboot the server! If you don’t, you’ll find yourself down and endless rabbit hole of warnings/errors. Reinstall and BE patient. Once complete, voila, everything works fine.
